Terms of service

1. Using Khushyan

By creating an account or embedding a Khushyan widget on your website, you agree to these terms. You must be authorised to act on behalf of the business whose website you connect, and the information you provide about your business must be accurate.

2. Your content and knowledge

You retain ownership of the content you add to your chatbot, including crawled website pages, documents, FAQs, and manual text. You grant us a licence to process this content solely to operate your chatbot, generate responses, and provide the service.

3. Acceptable use

• Don't use Khushyan to deploy a chatbot on a website you don't own or have permission to modify.
• Don't attempt to extract another customer's bot configuration, knowledge, or leads.
• Don't use the service to crawl or process content you don't have the rights to use.
• Don't abuse the chat API or attempt to circumvent usage limits or domain restrictions.

4. AI-generated responses

Your chatbot generates responses using AI grounded in the knowledge you provide. While we apply safeguards to reduce fabricated answers, you are responsible for reviewing your bot's configuration and knowledge, and for how it represents your business to visitors.

5. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Usage beyond your plan's limits may be restricted or require an upgrade.

6. Service availability

We aim to keep Khushyan reliable, but the service is provided "as is" without guarantees of uninterrupted availability. Where the AI service is temporarily unavailable, your widget degrades gracefully to a lead-capture fallback.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, including abusive use of the crawler, chat API, or another customer's data.
